This is Mario...a female Magellanic penguin that we met on our "Behind the Scenes" tour at Seaworld. We learned that both female and male anatomy look identical. A DNA test can be performed when the penguin is around 2 months old to determine the sex of the penguin. Because of the need to bond with their trainers, they are named at birth which means a lot of boy penguins have girl names and vice versa. Mario was adorable! Watch this little video clip.

The penguin colony was a sight...there was one penguin who was laying on his belly just chilling out. Evan spotted him first...look on the left side of the picture, do you see him?

Here we are enjoying the seal/sea lion habitat at Sea World. The baby and his mama were precious. The baby couldn't for the life of him or herself get comfie and the mama never moved one inch! I had to be dragged away from them- could have stayed all day watching the cuteness!
