Andrew and Evan enjoyed some special time together down by Andrew's neighborhood lake and creek on a very beautiful and mild January day. They started out fishing but soon discovered many large craw-dads down by the creek.
We enjoyed another lovely time at the Arnold's house for New Year's Eve. It has become a very fun tradition, one the kids and adults look very forward to!
After celebrating Christmas morning at home, we went to Richmond to be with family at Aunt Carver's house. We opened gifts that afternoon and had dinner that night. Nancy, Ken, Tara and Siena came over as well!
The children were so excited to come downstairs and see what Santa had left them...an American Girl doll and EasyBake Oven for Anna, an iPod Home and Parker Youth Compound Bow for Evan, a new bed for Finley and stockings for all of us!!
Opening more gifts...Evan is helping Finley out with his stocking.
Following with our tradition, the children create something especially for each other to be opened on Christmas Eve. This year, Evan did a color pencil drawing of a parrot for Anna. Anna did a water color painting of 2 dolphins for Evan. We saw many parrots and dolphins while our recent trip to Florida!
