Gingerbread houses

The kids enjoyed decorating their gingerbread houses with their friend, Sarah Howard, this year. Evan's is on the left and Anna's is on the right.

A close up of Anna's...the peppermint stick with pretzels is a grill, by the way.

Waynesboro Christmas Parade

Anna walked in our annual Christmas parade on Saturday night with her Daisy Troop. She is in the middle row with a hot pink sweatshirt hanging out from under her coat. She was very proud to be able to do this!

Napping at its best!

After putting our Christmas tree up, Rob decided it was nap time. Anna helped me with hanging some ornaments but tuckered out after a while. As you can see, she decided to snuggle with Daddy. Finley was definitely not going to be left out of this snugglefest! He walked all over Anna before choosing this spot... she never budged. In the second picture I took, I think he actually stuck his tongue out at me!

"Young Virginians" Day in Evan's class

The students in Mrs. Turner's 4th grade class had to choose a famous Virginian to do an oral report on. Evan chose William Clark who was the Clark in "Lewis and Clark." He really enjoyed reading and learning about him and then getting to dress up like him. All the kids did a great job and really enjoyed listening to each other's reports.
