Finley's Surgery

Finley had surgery this week to have his front dew claws removed. He has repeatedly torn them playing with his ball the way he does so the vet recommended that we have this done to prevent it from happening over and over. Poor Finley...he is right mad at us for having to wear the "satellite dish" as Rob calls it. His bandages come off today but unfortunately for him, he will have to wear the e-collar for 10 days to keep from licking his stitches.

Anna's Spring VDT Production

Anna had her Valley Dance Theatre Spring production this past weekend. It was held at R.E. Lee High School in Staunton and was very exciting for her. Here she is with Ariana Bowman (a good friend who she takes gymnastics with) and another one with Miss Dana- her teacher. The production was based on "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" and was very well done. Way to go, Anna!

A little water fun

The kids know how to have fun even while the grown ups are working...Rob was cleaning Nan's porch off, meanwhile the kids decided it would be fun to get a little wet!

Mother's Day Lunch at The Halfway House

Rob took Nancy, the kids and me to The Halfway House for a lovely Mother's Day lunch. We all had a wonderful time...the food was delicious and the house was very entertaining and charming.

The kids and Rob made this for me on Mother's Day morning! I loved it and they even tasted good! How sweet!

Spring Fling Cakes

The kids had their school Spring Fling on Friday and these were the 2 cakes I made for the auction. Not sure how much they went for but I think they turned out halfway decent! One is a ladybug (pretty obvious) and the other is a piggie!

Beauty and the Beast weekend

Carver and I took Anna and Lainey to see Beauty and the Beast at The Landmark Theater. It was the girl's first broadway play and they both loved it. What an exciting time for both of them. These pictures were taken right before we left.
